History: Founder and owner of Capturing Hearts Castings, Colwynn Phillips, trained to complete her Body Casting Training qualification, at The Edinburgh Casting Studio in 2017.

History: 2018
Capturing Hearts Castings was founded in 2018 by Colwynn Phillips and the support of her husband, Stephen.
Before training to cast, Colwynn qualified as a nurse (2005) in the intensive care unit. During this time, Colwynn witnessed the profound impact that grief was having on her patients. Subsequently, she felt as if she could offer more to help support people in grief.
Casting offers a significant and lasting connection to our loved ones even after they have passed. The ethos that Capturing Hearts Castings adheres to.
Fast Forward To - 2024
Capturing Hearts Castings has been thriving for six years and is one of the only Casting companies in and around Oxfordshire. Regularly collaborating with the charity, Heart Heroes to offer Bereavement Castings to families affected by heart conditions. Each casting is not just an artistic expression but a valuable life moment.
Colwynn lives in Oxford with her husband, 4 children and dog, where she continues to practise both nursing and casting.
